Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Controller for a rapidly growing Bay Area general contractor. The role oversees the entire accounting function and leads a team of accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong controls.

Requires 10+ years in construction accounting, CPA not required, with QuickBooks expertise and strong leadership and communication skills. Competitive base salary, bonus potential, and excellent benefits are highlighted in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction accounting, ideally with a general contractor.
• Proven experience as a Controller.
• QuickBooks experience a must
• Procore experience nice to have

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accounting function for a growing Bay Area GC.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants.
• Lead financial reporting, controls and budgeting processes.
