This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Serve as a Construction Representative monitoring and controlling construction operations as well as performing on-site inspections of construction for compliance with plans and specifications.

Assignments may include monitoring construction projects in various locations.

Experience

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes 1) inspecting construction projects to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications; and 2) interpreting construction documents to resolve common issues or to suggest acceptable alternative construction methods.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
