Aperture, LLC is seeking a Construction Claim Consultant to perform detailed analysis of construction claims, schedule and cost analyses, and damages estimation for complex projects. You will prepare reports and expert opinions under senior consultants, and support pre-trial and deposition activities in litigation.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 5+ years in construction, strong communication, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta, or MS

As a Construction Claim Consultant, you will perform detailed analysis of construction claims seeking damages resulting from changes, disruption, preparation, and delays to a project. You will perform schedule analysis, change order review, cost estimating, damages analysis, and report writing. You will develop claims and expert reports under the direction of the Managing Consultants, with the goal of the new consultant signing reports, providing pre-trial advice to clients and attorneys, and providing deposition and trial testimony during litigation.

This position is physical in nature and the below are considered essential job functions: Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, walking on roofs, entering and working in confined spaces, working outdoors in hot or cold weather, using necessary safety equipment, performing other duties that may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, or squatting for prolonged periods of time
The functions of this role are conducted in both an office environment as well as in the field. May also be required to travel for business purposes.
Fulltime: Defined as 5 days a week for at least 40 hours per week. At times, the incumbent may be required to work over 40 hours per week in order to successfully complete the expected job duties and projects. When traveling, employee may be exposed to longer work hours.
