Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Strategic Partnerships, Workforce & Community Impact Manager to lead community engagement initiatives across the SPW&CI committee, coordinating with clients, project teams, and local stakeholders.

The role focuses on workforce development, local supplier participation, and public affairs to advance social and economic impact aligned with Layton's values of honesty, safety, unity, and quality.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business management, marketing or public relations, construction management, human resources, procurement, or related field.
• 5+ years combined experience in community engagement, philanthropy, public affairs, economic development, or related areas.
• Ability to report full-time on the project site.
• Experience working in construction, infrastructure, real estate development, or related industries preferred.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal SPW&CI committee and coordinate community meetings.
• Develop market-specific frameworks for construction community engagement programs.
• Collaborate with schools, colleges, and nonprofits to create workforce pathways.
• Prepare and present executive reports on program progress and impact.
• Mentor and train trade partners to grow Layton Trade Partner Engagement Program.
• Monitor metrics to ensure program goals are met.
