Job summary

Datacenter People is seeking an experienced Construction/Commissioning Scheduler to join a leading Owner's Representative on a permanent basis. You will own the integrated schedule from construction completion through energisation, startup, testing and final turnover on data centre projects.

You'll challenge the schedule, provide clear progress visibility to the client, and collaborate with GCs, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to drive sequencing, recovery plans, and timely milestones

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction scheduling, project controls or commissioning.
• Strong Primavera P6 and Excel skills.
• Experience on MEP-heavy projects: data centres, healthcare, semiconductor, industrial or utility.
• Knowledge of how electrical, UPS, generator, cooling, BMS and fire/life-safety systems move from construction through IST.
• The confidence to push back on unrealistic durations or progress claims professionally.
• Willingness to travel, work on active sites and support extended hours during critical testing.

• Produce look-aheads plus weekly and monthly reports for project teams, leadership and the client
• Work with GCs, subcontractors, vendors and commissioning teams on sequencing and recovery plans

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction/Commissioning Scheduler to join them on a permanent basis.

The role

You'll own the integrated schedule that takes a project from construction completion through energisation, startup, testing and final turnover. Sitting on the owner's side, you'll give the client a clear, objective picture of where the project really stands. You won't just update dates. You'll understand the schedule, challenge it, and help the team use it as a management tool.
