Job summary

Starr Adjustment Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Claims Manager for the Primary Casualty Division. Located in Alpharetta, GA with additional sites in NY, Scottsdale, Dallas and Chicago, this role supports the AVP – Primary Construction Claims.

The ideal candidate will manage complex construction claims, lead investigations, and coordinate with insureds, brokers, and legal teams. Strong analytical skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 3–7 years claims experience preferred in construction insurance.
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with claims systems and MS Office suite expected.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and process construction claims with oversight of third-party admins.
• Conduct investigations to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers, legal counsel, and vendors; negotiate settlements.
• Maintain accurate claim files and documentation through lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed status reports and correspondence for management.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences to negotiate cost-effective settlements.
