Job summary

Starr Insurance Companies is seeking a Construction Claims Manager for the Primary Casualty Division. The role reports to the AVP - Primary Construction Claims and can involve multiple locations including Alpharetta, GA, New York, NY, Scottsdale, AZ, Dallas, TX, and Chicago, IL.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in construction claims and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment. The position requires handling investigations, settlements, and interaction with insureds and brokers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–7 years of claims experience in construction insurance preferred.
• Active insurance license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and process primary construction claims for Starr insureds.
• Investigate to determine coverage, liability, and damages with appropriate documentation.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers, counsel, and vendors to obtain information and negotiate settlements.
