We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Civil Estimator to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction, with strong focus on underground utilities, sitework, or public infrastructure
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil construction plans and specifications
• Strong knowledge of Florida public bidding processes and requirements
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Florida for site visits as needed
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to producing thorough, professional bid packages

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive bids for public‑sector projects including underground utilities, water & sewer mains, lift stations, stormwater systems, roadway improvements
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, labor and equipment analysis, and material costing
• Review plans, specifications, and addenda to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Collaborate with the team for constructability reviews and cost optimization
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors for timely, competitive pricing
• Support project handoff to operations teams with clear estimates and assumptions

Job Type: Full Time (8 hour shift, Monday to Friday)

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Compensation: $100,000‑$130,000
