PKF O'Connor Davies TalentConnect seeks a Chief Financial Officer for a Yorktown Heights-based construction-focused organization. The role combines strategic leadership with deep accounting discipline to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will own job costing, cash flow, project profitability, and coordination with owners and senior leaders to drive disciplined financial performance and risk management across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA/MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive accounting leadership, with construction industry experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and project accounting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting functions and maintain accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial records.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with reconciliations and financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate year-end financial statement preparation, audits/reviews, tax work, and external requests.
