Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations for Houston-based projects and entities.
• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital funding strategies.
• Provide oversight of job costing, WIP schedules, cost controls, and project profitability analysis.
• Ensure timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Partner with executive leadership on investment decisions, acquisitions, and development opportunities.
• Oversee audit, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and improve financial systems, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.

Established and growing organization within the construction / real estate development industry is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and drive long‑term growth across its Houston portfolio. This role will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and oversee all financial activities for Houston operations.

Position Summary

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, project financing, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry experience in construction or real estate development, with a strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, capital structuring, and project-based financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations for Houston-based projects and entities
• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives
