Job summary

Prairie Landworks, Inc. is seeking a qualified Commercial Driver to support our growing construction operations in Kansas.

You will operate a range of commercial vehicles, transport heavy equipment and materials between job sites, perform pre-trip inspections, and help with site tasks when not driving. The role requires a valid CDL Class A with Air Brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and 1–2 years of construction trucking experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with Air Brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Strong knowledge of load securement procedures and practical load handling.
• Experience with construction logistics and transporting equipment between sites.
• Ability to operate trailers and large equipment safely on job sites and roads.
• Minimum 1–2 years of construction trucking experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of commercial vehicles including dump, water, lowboys, flatbeds, roll-offs, and service trucks.
• Transport equipment and materials between Prairie Landworks job sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Maintain safe operation in all weather and road conditions.
• Assist with site support tasks when not driving, such as material handling and fueling as directed.
• Follow all company and DOT safety protocols and procedures.
• Represent Prairie Landworks professionally with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
