A reputable construction company in Kansas City is seeking a responsible delivery driver to transport building materials to job sites safely. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A or B license, a clean driving record, and will be able to lift heavy items. Responsibilities include securing loads, performing vehicle maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be able to walk on uneven surfaces and meet DOT requirements. Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B license is required.
• Must pass all DOT requirements including physical examination and drug screen.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
• The ability to lift 80 lbs repeatedly.
• The ability to walk on roofs and other uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver building materials to job sites safely.
• Perform pre and post DOT truck inspections.
• Properly secure the load on truck/trailer.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform daily maintenance of the truck.
• Safely operate assigned equipment such as crane and forklift.
• Report unsafe job sites or injuries to the supervisor.
• Supervise material handler on rooftops as needed.
• Take pre and post photographs of job sites.
• Collect customer signatures on sales orders at job sites.
