The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of bookkeeping experience, payroll knowledge, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Advanced/Plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Willing to work for multiple companies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with employees, vendors, and customers to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Prepare progress billings in a timely manner after the period’s scope of work is completed and coordinate billing with the appropriate manager.
• Pay debts and vendor invoices via check, ACH, or other methods ensuring timely payments.
• Prepare credit card expense transactions accurately and promptly.
• Obtain vendor information (W-9s) and maintain vendor and authorized purchaser files.
• Prepare and file monthly and annual General Excise tax filings and payments.
• Perform reconciliations of bank/credit/vendor accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Make deposits and record cash receipts; ensure correct application of receipts.
