Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Construction Automation Specialist to support a major industrial construction project in Texas. The role focuses on implementing, administering, and supporting digital construction systems while coordinating with engineering, construction, project controls, and field teams.

Responsibilities include administering automation apps, configuring CM systems, data integration, dashboards, reporting, troubleshooting data quality, and training project personnel on system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting construction automation or digital project delivery on large industrial or EPC projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and project execution workflows.

Job description

Long-Term Contract | Full-Time | 100% Onsite


We're looking for an experienced Construction Automation Specialist to support a major industrial construction project. This role will focus on implementing, administering, and supporting digital construction systems while working closely with engineering, construction, project controls, and field teams.


Responsibilities


  • Administer and support construction automation applications throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Configure and maintain construction management systems to meet project requirements.

  • Coordinate data integration between engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction teams.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and automated workflows.

  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure reporting accuracy.

  • Provide training and technical support to project personnel.

  • Support system configuration, enhancements, and ongoing application administration.

  • Assist field engineering teams with reporting, data management, and system support.


Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience supporting construction automation or digital project delivery on large industrial or EPC projects.

  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and project execution workflows.

  • Experience with construction management software and digital field tools.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with databases and reporting platforms preferred.

  • Power BI and SQL reporting experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
