Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior to join the CLA Western Ohio Construction team. This in-office role is based out of either the Maumee or Finlay office locations, offering exposure to construction clients and a path to specialized skill development.

You will manage day-to-day audit activities, review procedures, design internal controls, and prepare financial statements and disclosures, while communicating findings with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites with possible overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage day-to-day audit engagements for construction clients from start to finish.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess internal controls design and implementation.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition letters.
• Communicate technical matters clearly with staff, management, and clients.
