Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an Audit Partner to lead engagement teams, deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle-market clients, and work with firm leadership to grow the practice.

You will mentor staff, own the engagement, manage staffing and profitability, and help expand client relationships across service lines while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s desirable.
• CPA required.
• 8+ years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm; construction experience preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted engagement team member delivering assurance and advisory services to middle market clients.
• Engage with clients to understand goals and challenges throughout the year.
• Lead fieldwork, ensure quality, and timely delivery of results.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations from testing results.
• Drive growth by generating opportunities and collaborating across service lines.
• Mentor staff and develop their technical and professional skills.
