Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP seeks an Audit & Assurance Senior to join the PSO team. Based in an in-office role at Greater New York or Greater Washington DC locations, you will manage construction audit engagements from planning to completion.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in accounting or related field, CPA eligibility preferred, and at least 2 years of public accounting audit experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites may require infrequent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage day-to-day audit engagements for construction clients from start to finish, including budgeting and staff direction.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess design and implementation of internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and letters.
• Communicate technical matters clearly with staff, management, and clients.
