Confidential Employer, a full-service law firm focusing on construction law, seeks an attorney to join its team in Toms River, NJ. You will represent clients in construction disputes, contract matters, and related commercial litigation while developing deep expertise in construction law.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week and opportunities for ownership of matters, client-facing guidance, and practical business-focused strategies.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of construction law experience.
• A book of business is preferred.
• Experience with construction disputes, contracts, litigation, or related project counseling.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction disputes, contract matters, and related commercial litigation.
• Analyze and advise on construction contracts, project issues, claims, and risk.
• Handle matters involving construction litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution.
• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective strategies for complex construction matters.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to manage matters efficiently and deliver high-quality results.
• Develop deeper expertise across construction law while taking increasing ownership of client matters.
