Job summary

LaRosaBuildingGroup, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to support our construction office. The role focuses on assisting the project manager to ensure projects align with design, budget, and schedule.

You will handle client and subcontractor communications, manage submittals and shop drawings in Procore, prepare weekly meeting minutes, and help with closeout documents while maintaining project objectives and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or 4 years of construction project engineering experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Procore Project Management software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in coordinating construction efforts per design, budget, and schedule.
• Correspond with client representatives, architect/engineer representatives, and subs.
• Log in, track, and review shop drawings and submittals.
• Create weekly meeting minutes.
• Obtain and track closeout documents.
• Maintain and enforce project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards per corporate policy.
• Manage multiple diverse assignments, work independently, meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Apply innovative and effective techniques to maximize performance.
• Understand corporate and industry practices and their impact on project activities.
• Demonstrate superior communication and interpersonal skills.
