Job summary

LaRosa Building Group, LLC in Connecticut seeks a Construction Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in achieving design, budget, and schedule goals. You will handle shop drawings, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout documents while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Obtain and track closeout documents; maintain project objectives and performance standards.
• Communicate with client representatives, architects, engineers, and subs as needed.
• Apply industry practices and corporate policies to maximize project performance.

Construction Assistant Project Manager/ Project Engineer
LaRosa Building Group, LLC, a General Contractor/Construction Manager, is seeking a project engineer for our Ct office.
The APM/Project Engineer Will Assist The Project Manager In The Total Construction Effort To Ensure Projects Are Constructed In Accordance With Design, Budget And Schedule. This Includes But Not Limited To

• Correspondence with client representative, architect and engineer representatives, and subcontractors
• Log-in, track and review shop drawings and submittals
• Create weekly meeting minutes.
• Obtain and track closeout documents.
• Maintain and enforce project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Must be able to manage multiple and diverse assignments, work independently and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Must be able to apply innovative and effective techniques to maximize performance.
• Must have a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.
• Must have superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years construction project engineering experience. Applicants must have strong computer skills. Candidate must have effective written and oral communication skills. Procore Project Management software experience a plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience and best fit for this position.
