Job summary

Hlousek Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help keep projects on schedule, on budget, and running efficiently.

Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality control and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project management processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction.
• Manage smaller projects while assisting with larger commercial projects.
• Assist with budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and project meetings.
• Support quality control, safety, change orders, and contract administration.
• Assist with project closeout, including punch lists, commissioning, and owner turnover.
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, subcontractor bidding, and constructability reviews.
