Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced transactional attorney for a REMOTE opportunity. Ideal profiles will have construction, architecture, or engineering contract experience and be prepared to handle day-to-day compliance and contract work.

You will draft and review internal policies, corporate housekeeping, and a wide range of contracts, including design and construction agreements, NDAs, and joint venture documents.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admission to a state Bar.
• 3 years of relevant experience in construction law.
• Experience with general corporate governance and drafting corporate documents.
• Knowledge of state and municipal business licensing.
• Ability to review, negotiate and finalize a wide range of contracts.

Responsibilities

Beacon Hill Legal is looking for an experienced transactional attorney for a REMOTE opportunity. Ideal profiles will be of attorneys with experience in construction, architecture and/or engineering. Details are listed below!

Day to day will involve:

Research on legal and compliance questions that arise in day-to-day business operations.

Draft and review legal documents relating to internal policies and procedures, corporate housekeeping, and other compliance matters.

Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to design and construction agreements, subconsultancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, novation agreements, letters of reliance and intent, framework agreements, joint venture agreements, and teaming agreements.

Skills Requirements:

Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.

Admission to a state Bar

3 years of relevant experience in construction law

Experience with general corporate governance, ability to perform routine corporate housekeeping, including, but not limited to, drafting corporate resolutions, operating agreements, bylaws

Knowledge of state and municipal business licensing

Understanding and ability to review, negotiate and ultimately finalize a wide range of contracts
