Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a motivated Laborer to support basic construction and general labor tasks under close supervision. You will assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup while developing skills in tool use, safety, and worksite organization.

With 0-2 years of related experience and OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification within 3 months, you will learn safety standards and quality expectations to support advancement within DPR's technical trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of general labor or construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification within 3 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing, cleaning, and maintaining work areas for construction activities.
• Supports team members by performing basic material handling, lifting, and transport tasks.
• Learns proper use of hand and power tools under direct supervision.
• Follows DPR safety policies, PPE requirements, and worksite procedures consistently.
• Observes and learns from experienced workers to understand workflow and job expectations.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout all assigned tasks.
• Participates in on-the-job and classroom training to build technical and safety knowledge.
