University degree or related construction or operational training combined. 4+ years of previous related experience (in construction project management, construction coordination, construction cost estimating, or similar project work) or a combination of education and experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of experience is required (total of 7+ years). Proven ability to independently manage multiple construction projects, applying project management standards, assessing technical and business impacts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of construction principles, drawings, schedules, budgets, contracts, submittals, change orders, service outage coordination, and quality, safety, and environmental requirements. Excellent planning, organizational, communication, presentation, customer service, and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera); a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and PMP certification are considered assets.
Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
Office / field combination (25-75% / up to 75%) to assist with construction projects, field activities, contractors, clients, and site personnel. Work may involve construction site exposure and requires attention to safety, environmental controls, quality requirements, project schedules, and coordination with operating groups during service outages. A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire. Company vehicle will be provided for the duration of your role, including take-home privileges for professional use.
Ranges from $90,000 – $110,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is not eligible for overtime. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
