Job summary

FTK Hospitality Baltimore is seeking a Construction and Development Manager to lead new build and renovation projects across a dynamic portfolio of restaurant, retail, and hospitality venues. You will coordinate with general contractors, architects, and design consultants to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction management, a related degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and scheduling software.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction management experience in hospitality, retail, or related sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction scheduling software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, contracts, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and vendor/stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new build, renovation, and buildout projects from concept through completion.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and design consultants to ensure project alignment.
  • Track budgets, conduct cost analysis, and implement value engineering (VE) processes.
  • Review and approve RFIs, ASIs, field directives, and change orders.
  • Oversee general contractor schedules and monitor on-site construction progress.
  • Participate in punchlist and project turnover processes.
  • Prepare project status updates and presentations for leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and quality specifications.

FTK Hospitality Baltimore | East Coast & Select Midwest Markets (Travel Required)

Join a well-established, multi-market hospitality and entertainment organization as a Construction and Development Manager. In this role, you will lead new build and renovation projects across a dynamic portfolio of restaurant, retail, and hospitality venues. We are looking for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple projects while ensuring they meet brand standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new build, renovation, and buildout projects from concept through completion.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and design consultants to ensure project alignment.
  • Track budgets, conduct cost analysis, and implement value engineering (VE) processes.
  • Review and approve RFIs, ASIs, field directives, and change orders.
  • Oversee general contractor schedules and monitor on-site construction progress.
  • Participate in punchlist and project turnover processes.
  • Prepare project status updates and presentations for leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing project deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to East Coast markets with some Midwest travel required.
