MaineHousing is seeking a Construction Analyst to oversee multifamily housing construction in Augusta, Maine. The role involves reviewing design and construction documents to ensure compliance with standards and conducting project site visits. The Construction Analyst will review design and construction documents, specifications, construction cost estimates, and oversee multifamily housing construction to ensure quality standards, energy standards, construction standards, and applicable codes and regulations are met. The position requires extensive travel in the southern part of Maine, with statewide travel as needed. A company vehicle, computer equipment, and company cell phone are provided.
Review of detailed building and site design documents and specifications and construction cost estimates for new construction, adaptive re-use of historic or other buildings, and substantial rehabilitation of existing affordable multifamily housing projects.
Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, interruptions & deadlines. After the initial training period, the position will report to our office in Augusta on an as needed basis with the majority of work being completed via telework.

The starting hourly rate for the position is $32.9302 ($68,495 annually), plus a company vehicle, computer equipment, company cell phone, and a great benefits package, including, but not limited to, health, dental and vision, retirement options with employer match, life insurance, short and long-term disability, employee assistance, generous earned time and all major federal holidays. Employment is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
