Job summary

Biddeford Housing Authority is seeking a Construction Analyst to review design and construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for multifamily housing projects. The role involves travel across southern Maine and statewide as needed, with a company vehicle and equipment provided.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes, accessibility standards, and energy-efficient construction methods, while coordinating with MaineHousing staff, contractors, and design

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable building and energy codes and standards.
• Knowledge of accessibility regulations, laws, and standards.
• Knowledge of building design and construction, including energy efficient construction methods and systems.
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong PC skills using MS Office, Outlook, Bluebeam Revu, ShareFile, etc.

Responsibilities

• Review design and construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for new construction and rehab of multifamily housing.
• Work with MaineHousing staff, contractors, and design professionals to ensure codes and standards are met.
• Review construction cost estimates to ensure alignment with work scopes.
• Conduct project site visits to assess feasibility and scope.
• Prepare and issue comprehensive review reports.
