Kokosing, a leading contractor based in Westerville, Ohio, seeks a Construction AI Engineer to bridge Technology and Innovation with field operations. You will design AI agents and integrate AI into workflows for live construction projects.

This role focuses on collaboration with superintendents, project managers, and safety leaders. You will ensure scalable, compliant AI that enhances productivity and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software or AI/ML engineering with production AI apps.
• Experience with AI orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of AEC tech stacks, BIM is preferred.
• Strong communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build AI Agents & Automations using LLMs, function calling, agentic AI and multi-agent patterns.
• System Integration of AI with enterprise systems (Procore/Autodesk) for real-world adoption.
• Testing & Evaluation with robust infrastructure and datasets for non-deterministic AI systems.
• Data Management of structured/unstructured project data with vector search and knowledge graphs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration with PMs, superintendents, and safety directors.
• Model Governance to meet security, privacy and responsible AI standards.
