Stantec is currently seeking a full-time Mission Critical Construction Administrator based in our Austin, TX office. In this role, you will bring broad construction experience, technical knowledge, and a commitment to design excellence to support complex mission critical projects across the country. As a key member of an integrated, multidisciplinary team, you will serve as the vital link between the design team and construction team during project execution, acting as a field representative for the architect/engineer throughout the construction phase. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering construction contract activities for projects of varying complexity and scale, ensuring design intent is successfully translated into the field through management of RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications; monitoring construction progress; supporting schedule- critical decision-making; and facilitating communication among contractors, owners, and design disciplines. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-performance mission critical facilities while helping clients achieve their cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
This position will require on-site field representation for approximately 20% of your time, with the remainder of your time following a hybrid work model that includes in-office and work-from-home flexibility.
This position will include onsite work and may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather. Some travel, up to approximately 20% on average, may be required.

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
Regular full‑time and part‑time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short‑term/long‑term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
