Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Construction Administrator II to support construction projects across UT campuses. The CA2 ensures quality assurance, documents progress, and upholds university design and construction standards during the build phase.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years in construction planning or supervision of institutional facilities.
• OSHA 30 certification required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Valid Class C driver license; MVR history reviewed for eligibility to drive university vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication among clients, design professionals, and contractors to document progress and ensure client needs are met.
• Oversee multiple projects, monitor scope, budget, and schedule during construction; report progress and safety observations.
• Lead pre-construction and regular on-site meetings; review RFIs and submittals; coordinate construction with campus stakeholders.
