Confidential Employer seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor/Manager to lead tax return preparation and financial statement engagements for construction-industry clients. You will work directly with firm leadership, guiding staff and ensuring accurate, compliant reporting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA status or progress toward CPA certification, with strong public accounting experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification recommended.
• Experience with construction industry clients highly preferred.
• Experience preparing and reviewing business tax returns and financial statements helpful.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review federal and multistate business tax returns (Forms 1120S, 1120, 1065) and individual returns for business owners.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, compilations, reviews, and audit engagements for construction clients.
• Advise construction business owners on tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on tax planning and client advisory services.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
• Manage multiple client engagements and maintain client relationships.
• Assist with construction accounting matters and disclosures.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and provide value.
