Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Construction industry accounting experience preferred.
• Union and certified payroll experience necessary.
• Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and payroll; union payroll experience required.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and integrity of accounting records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review month-end journal entries.
• Monitor revenue recognition and contract accounting including WIP reporting.
• Support audits, reviews and tax reporting.
