Job summary

Staff Financial Group in Georgia seeks an Accounting Supervisor / Bookkeeper with construction accounting experience to maintain the general ledger, manage construction draws, and support monthly closes. Timberline (Sage 300) experience is highly preferred, along with strong job costing and project cost tracking.

You will collaborate with project managers, prepare budgets and management reports, and ensure accuracy of payables and receivables in a fast-growing commercial construction environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with construction draws required.
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles.
• Experience with Timberline (Sage 300) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage and prepare construction draws.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and on schedule.
• Perform job-cost tracking and allocation using Timberline (Sage 300).
• Assist with financial statements, budgets, and management reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to accurately track project costs and budgets.
