Job summary

ICOP, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations for multiple construction entities and support month-end and year-end closes.

The role emphasizes job costing, WIP reporting, and mentorship of the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in accounting within construction, strong GL and Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate project financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience in WIP reporting and audit coordination.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare expense accruals and review reconciliations.
• Oversee job cost accounting and project cost tracking in Foundation.
• Oversee royalty reporting to technology lessor.
• Supervise accounting staff including Staff Accountant and Accounting Assistant.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations for accurate reporting.
• Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance reporting.
