Consigli Construction is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our Finance division in Milford, MA. This in-person role offers hands-on exposure to financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and routine accounting tasks in a reputable construction firm.

You will assist with reconciliations, audit prep, and spreadsheet analysis while developing a solid foundation in accounting principles and internal controls. The internship is 40 hours/week, with transportation to office locations as required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient with spreadsheets or willingness to learn (Excel/Google Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarter-end and year-end close and reporting.
• Support reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Contribute to major accounting projects and reports.
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Aid in audit preparation and compliance efforts.
• Prepare and analyze spreadsheets to support financial data management.
• Process invoices and expense reports to support accounts payable/receivable.
• Maintain the general ledger and financial databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data gathering and ad hoc analysis.
