Staff Financial Group partners with a growing commercial construction company to hire a Construction Accountant in Suwanee, GA. This in-office role supports project accounting, construction accounting, and financial operations with a clear path toward leadership.

Responsibilities include managing multi-project construction accounting, processing invoices, conducting job-cost coding, and overseeing COIs, lien waivers, and vendor compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects.
• Process construction-related invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform job cost coding and monitor project costs.
• Administer construction accounts payable and vendor payment processes.
• Review and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), lien waivers, and vendor compliance documentation.
• Track paid-when-paid payment requirements.
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
