NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Construction Accountant for a full-time, in-office role in Suwanee, GA. You will support construction and project accounting, ensuring accurate cost tracking and timely financial reporting while growing into leadership within the accounting department.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior accounting leadership, rigorous process adherence, and opportunities to advance as the company expands its construction operations.

Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience required.
• 2–7+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with job costing and project accounting disciplines.
• Knowledge of COIs, lien waivers, and paid-when-paid processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects.
• Process construction invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Perform job-cost coding and monitor project costs.
• Administer construction accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Review COIs, lien waivers, and vendor compliance documents.
• Support month-end close and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with project accounting and financial reporting.
