Talent Edge Recruiting's Los Angeles client, a family-owned builder specializing in high-end custom homes, seeks a Construction Accountant to own the financials across multiple projects.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 remote) in LA, base salary $85,000-$95,000 plus a holiday bonus, and a monthly vehicle allowance. You will manage AR/AP, bank draws, job costing, lien waivers, payroll, COI, and more.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with job costing and cost tracking.
• Must come from the construction industry (residential/commercial/multi-family).
• A degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• AR/AP invoicing and full-cycle contract administration across multiple concurrent builds.
• Bank draw submittals and construction loan documentation.
• Job costing and cost tracking at the project level.
• Lien waiver collection, tracking, and subcontractor compliance.
• Managing subcontractor agreements, W-9 collection, and 1099 preparation.
• Weekly payroll processing.
• Insurance certificate (COI) tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with project management to align billing and draws with timelines.
