Staff Financial Group is seeking a Construction Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and help with project cost tracking in Suwanee, GA. You will work closely with the accounting team, vendors, and lenders to resolve discrepancies and keep processes running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has construction accounting experience, strong reconciliation skills, and a collaborative, detail‑oriented approach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting-related role within a construction environment.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, construction cost accounting, and related financial procedures with strong reconciliation experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and research skills, and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage accounts payable activities, including verifying vendor accounts, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Code expenses to the correct accounts and projects, support job costing, and enter budgets.
• Perform reconciliations, maintain records, and assist with financial reporting and audits.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets, research discrepancies, and collaborate with teams to analyze financial data.
• Maintain vendor relationships and stay informed of applicable accounting requirements.
