Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field with two years of professional experience, or equivalent.
• Engineer Intern certification by the Nevada State Board and two years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Two years of experience in Nevada State service as Staff I/Associate Engineer or Supervisor I/Associate Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, design, analysis and inspection of transportation projects.
• Design and analyze traffic systems including signals and highway lighting.
• Evaluate pavement structural sections and related contract documents.
