Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Soil to Supper initiative, focused on enhancing market access for livestock producers. You will work closely with the Program Manager to translate grant requirements and operational goals into practical applications, supporting producers across the Southwest.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conservation program management, relationship building, and strategic program design. This position may be extended beyond 2028, depending on funding.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing conservation programs on rangelands.
• Ability to build trust with livestock producers, community partners, and agency staff.
• Strategic thinking about program design and management of budgets and grant deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners including producers and NRCS staff.
• Collaborate with fundraising and leadership teams to ensure program sustainability.
• Represent the program in meetings, workshops, and field visits.
