Imperial Irrigation District is seeking a customer service professional to support growers in a district water conservation program. The role involves gathering and processing contract proposals, creating an information database, and coordinating with engineers to prepare analyses.
You will coordinate with field conservation data technicians, provide quality assurance, and draft contracts based on engineers' analyses.
Under general supervision, provides customer service for growers participating in a district water conservation program to gather and process proposals for contracts; creates information database, coordinates with engineers preparation of analyzes; coordinates with field conservation data technicians, and provides quality assurance; creates contracts based on engineers analysis and communicates with growers concerning eligible and ineligible fields. May assist in the training of newly hired staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture science, public administration, or related field and three years of progressively responsible work experience in water utility customer service or related experience in agricultural business such as crop farming with water irrigation.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required in water utility customer service or related experience in agricultural business.
