Job summary

The Colorado Department of Agriculture seeks a Conservation Market Expansion Program Manager to lead AMP grant administration and cross-team coordination across divisions. You will guide strategic spenddown, distribute AMP funding, and ensure grant reporting aligned with federal requirements across Colorado farmers and ranchers.

This hybrid, Colorado-based role requires strong program management, grant experience, and excellent stakeholder engagement to advance conservation and market

Qualifications

• Eight years or more of program management or grant management experience.
• Experience with federal grants, ideally USDA.
• Experience working with agricultural producers.
• Strong budget tracking and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee AMP funding rules and guidelines.
• Coordinate across CDA divisions for AMP spend-down.
• Lead reporting to USDA-NRCS and the AMP Steering Committee.
• Manage grant administration and compliance across programs.
• Develop program-wide strategies and workflows for AMP.
