Heartland Co-op is seeking a Conservation Agronomy Department Manager in Clive, IA to drive partnerships and programs that expand the department’s impact and revenue. You will lead the conservation agronomists, guide sales staff, and collaborate with government and private sector partners to deliver agronomic solutions to members.
You will oversee planning, budgeting, and reporting while ensuring training and compliance.

Summary: Manages the Conservation Agronomy Department by developing and managing partnerships and programs and by increasing the department’s impact and revenue of Heartland Co-op by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
Directly supervises employees in the location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
