Qualifications

• Experience in entry- and intermediate-level examination, documentation and treatment of library materials.
• Interest or experience working with special collections materials.
• Ability to prioritize routine work and make decisions in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform examination, documentation and conservation treatment on UCLA Library Special Collection materials.
• Select appropriate housings and exhibit recommendations; document decisions and sample analyses.
• Collaborate with Preservation & Conservation staff, curators and librarians; assist in outreach and emergency preparedness.
