The Hanover-Caroline Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking a Conservation Educator Intern to help deliver environmental education programs to K-12 students and community members. The intern will support educational programs and outreach activities under the supervision of the Education Specialist.

Responsibilities include assisting with MWEE field experiences, Ag Days, Envirothon trainings, scout presentations, and other educational events throughout Hanover and Caroline Counties.

The Hanover-Caroline Soil and Water Conservation District is hiring a Conservation Educator Intern! The intern will work to deliver environmental education programs to K-12 students and community members and will assist with other outreach activities. Sound interesting? The position will focus on providing support for the H-C SWCD educational programs. This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with the Education Specialist to support K-12 and community/adult educational programming within Hanover and Caroline Counties including outreach events, and/or training events that may include Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) field experiences, Ag Days, Envirothon trainings, scout troop presentations, and other educational programs as requested.
