Job summary

The Kent Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking a Resource Conservation District Supervisor to manage daily operations of a multi-agency workforce and implement policies for the Maryland Department of Agriculture.

The role emphasizes personnel supervision, board coordination, program delivery, budgeting, and grant administration to advance water quality and soil conservation goals in Kent County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of experience in soil conservation, water quality protection, or related programs.
• Administrative or supervisory experience in soil conservation or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or Environmental Science preferred.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as administrative officer overseeing daily operations of a multi-agency workforce.
• Coordinate with the board and implement district programs.
• Oversee budgeting and grant administration to support conservation goals in Kent County.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
