Job summary

Samtec, a global manufacturer of electronic interconnect solutions, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and validate high-speed connector products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and manufacturability standards, while driving issue resolution and improvements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on problem-solving skills, and experience with data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical connector development is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate connector solutions (board-to-board, cable, power, high-speed, panel-mount).
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality, manufacturing, test, and process engineering to deliver product solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during development, testing, and investigations.
• Support design reviews, qualification, and production release activities.
