Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Feature Systems Engineer to own the modem data protection function and vehicle connectivity to the FordPass app, including activation. You will lead embedded-to-cloud integrations, define system requirements, and collaborate with software/hardware, cybersecurity, and cloud teams.

The role demands strong technical ownership, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to shape architecture and corporate direction while ensuring safety and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years in automotive or related industry with complex electrical software systems.
• At least 1 year of experience in infotainment and embedded systems architecture/design.

Responsibilities

• Own global core project responsibility for the modem data protection function and vehicle-to-FordPass app connectivity.
• Lead embedded-to-cloud integration ensuring secure, scalable solutions.
• Define system requirements with cross-functional teams and produce feature specifications and verification plans.
• Represent Ford in industry committees and provide training to Global Core Feature System Engineers.
