Job summary

Wider Circle, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect for Life, our program that helps neighbors improve health and enjoy meaningful connections.

You will coordinate in-person events, home visits, and outreach by phone to build trust and support active participation. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in community outreach or facilitation, an associate degree preferred, and the ability to travel 20–50 miles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Connect For Life program, build trust and promote health.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships.
• Proactively contact members, conduct home visits, and monthly engagement.
• Record interactions for tracking and reporting in online systems.
• Identify Wider Circle Ambassadors to grow communities.
